PADI Reactivate Scuba Refresher (13 Years+)


Has it been a while since you’ve been scuba diving? Do you feel like your scuba skills and knowledge are a bit rusty? The PADI ReActivate scuba refresher is just what you need. It reacquaints you with diving so that you’re back to feeling comfortable in the underwater world. To take the PADI ReActivate scuba refresher, you must be have a scuba diving qualification and be at least 13 years old. The session is held in our pool in Telford, Shropshire with an option to add additional open water diving too!

Improve your diving ability, and get your scuba gear ready for your next diving holiday.

What do I learn?

You go over scuba knowledge you learned during your initial training.  Then, practice fundamental skills in a pool or a confined water area. You review:

Safe diving practices
Dive planning fundamentals
Problem management
Breathing air at depth
Recreational diving and dive tables: basic knowledge
Recreational diving and dive tables: dive planning

After you complete the knowledge assessment, you go through the Confined Water Skills Preview.  You review information about each skill, why it’s important, and points to remember when performing the skill.  Completing this section just before practicing is a great way to refresh your knowledge of how each skill is performed.

What does it involve?

To take the PADI Scuba Review Tune-up, you must be a certified diver (or enrolled upon a certification course), and be at least 10 years old.

Once you have booked in with Immerse School of Diving you will need to complete a few forms and bring these with you to our pool session in Telford Shropshire, including a Medical Statement.  Please ensure you read this in full Medical Statement before your session.  If you answer “yes” to any question on the Medical Statement you will need medical clearance before you can dive – see our FAQs for further information.
