What do I learn?
Primary and Secondary Care – £75: The Emergency First Response course consists of two parts. During the Primary Care (CPR) portion you’ll learn how to respond to life threatening emergencies. The Secondary Care (First Aid) portion of the course covers injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening. Throughout the course, you’ll learn through knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice, to make sure that you have the confidence in your ability to provide care when emergency situations arise.
Care for Children – £75:During the Emergency First Response Care for Children course you’ll learn how to provide emergency care for injured or ill children (ages one to eight) and infants less than one year old. You’ll learn about the types of medical emergencies that children face, and how they differ from adult conditions. The course includes both primary care (CPR) and secondary care (first aid) skills.

What does it involve?
Before your Emergency First Response course we will provide you with the relevant Emergency First Response manuals which you will need for your course. We will also provide you with access to a copy of the Emergency First Response DVD. You will need to read the relevant manuals and watch the DVD before your course. Our courses are taught in Telford Shropshire, and the surrounding areas.
