We have completed a number of PADI experiences and courses, and introduced some fresh faces to the underwater World for the very first time which is always a privilege and an honour! Our new cohorts of PADI Open Water Divers, Advanced Open Water Divers, Rescue Divers and Divemasters have all just started out on their courses. We also have some cool PADI Specialties coming up in the next couple of months, to build on specific skills such as night diving, deep diving and surface marker buoy use. Best of luck to everyone!!
We have worked closely with Mark Powell to kick off the Immerse School of Diving technical diving programme, who also delivered a fantastic TDI Advanced Gas Blender course for the school. Mark needs no introduction to anyone within the diving World, and we are very proud to be working with such a diving superstar to deliver this programme of advanced diving to the very highest level possible. If you are interested in starting out or continuing with your technical diving, then give us a shout.
Club Immerse divers have been up and down the country diving our inland sites over Winter, but also enjoyed a great visit from Brendon and Liz from Shark Guardian who presented a superb talk on all things sharky! We enjoyed a day out at London International Dive Show catching up with old friends, listening to some informative talks, and buying dive kit we'll need to hide from our respective other halves for a while. And of course we launched a jam packed diving calendar for 2014 including several inland and coastal trips and week ends within the UK, and both liveaboard and shore based diving holidays abroad. As ever, you can keep up to speed on our club page, and on our Facebook events page.
The biggest milestone so far this quarter has been the introduction of our very first Instructor program. We have of course been providing professional level tuition for some time now, with the PADI Divemaster course and our in-house IDC preparation program. However, the introduction of the Emergency First Response Instructor course marks our very first Instructor level course, and we couldn't be prouder!
The EFR Instructor course is required for all PADI Instructors, and therefore a lot of PADI Divemasters looking to become PADI Instructors will complete the EFR Instructor course as part of their professional development, prior to embarking upon the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC).
But as with the EFR provider level courses, the EFR Instructor course is also perfect for anyone who would like to become more actively involved in CPR and First Aid training - including, to name just a few, those involved in the care of children or the elderly or vulnerable adults, adventure sports, manual labour, or just looking for a new source of income.
We are really looking forward to teaching our very first EFR Instructors. The EFR courses are always a light hearted and relaxed way of learning skills which can help you and others to save lives in serious circumstances. The EFR Instructor course is no different, and should be a huge amount of fun!
If you fancy learning to become a CPR and First Aid Instructor for one of the World's leading global providers, then drop us a line on 07773771619 or firstname.lastname@example.org to start your journey! http://www.immersediving.com/efr-cpr-and-first-aid-and-instructor-courses.html
For now, keep you eyes peeled! We have a lot planned for 2014, and thank you for your continued support as we continue to build and develop the very best dive school we possible can for each and every student and diver with whom we have the pleasure to work. Now let's get immersed!!
